Video DeNoise for V.D 2

I have a couple of questions on this plug in.
I have some old avi with some noise on it ,which I want to reduce
or remove. Will this plug in work with an earlier version of virtualdub ? or do I really need version 2 ?


Also when u run this plug in , does this only do its job when you
are capturing to your capture card on the fly, or when u are in edit mode and already have the avi file ??

The 2.0 refers to the version number of Video Denoise, not that of VirtualDub. Anyway, there is no versoin 2.0 of VirtualDub. So, yes, it will work in the 1.x versions of VirtualDub.

It will definitely work in edit mode. It may work in capture mode if it isn't a CPU hog and your CPU is up to the job.
