6.3 I used to use old XviD and now I switched to XviD 1.0.x. Since then I _always_ have _very_ undersized/oversized files. What's the problem?
- old XviD has to be uninstalled properly, i.e. just installing new 1.0.x over it is not a proper way. Try uninstalling old one, then reinstalling new one.

Hi,

I am new to AutoGK and Have been having issues with file sizes, mainly Xvid. After looking at both the above links/FAq. I unistalled my version of Xvid [Xvid 1.1.2 final-installer] and 2.40 version of AutoGK.

Then I reinstalled AutoGK with the bundled Xvid Codec. This seems to have fixed any undersized Xvid avi files I was getting.
Most encodes seem to be about 700 which is about right for what I want.

I do have some questions though: For example why does the bundled Xvid codec work like it should, and Koepi's Xvid 1.1.2 final seem to have issues with AutoGK regarding output file size?

Thanks again

This problem is caused by installing XviD on top of an existing XviD installation.

Uninstall all XviD's before installing 1.1.2.
