hi there i have a dvd i recieved in the mail that has serious ghosting issue - ive used the tmpgenc ghosting filter as well as the exorcist filter in virtualdubmod - i searched the threads for good advice on another program to remove or atleast lessen the ghosting with to no avail

720x480 29.97 fps
Average bitrate 4525 Kbps
Source is done by a professional company and shipped out

Any advice that can be given would be apperciated and any suggestions to get rid of the ghosting would be great, thanks a lot!

It looks like it's due to blend deinterlacing; notice how it affects moving portions of the video only.

Are you sure it is in your source and not done by your player or script? How did you produce these screen grabs? Best would be to provide an *unprocessed* source video sample. If it's in your source, you're screwed.
