It's not possible to choose an other track under "Movie Lenght" except the default setting (the longest track). When I try to change the track DVD2SVCD will although encode the default track. Any solution about this? Holger

What exactly are you trying to do? Choose a shorter length? You can only do it by chapters using either internal routines or smartripper. Also if a DVD is dual-layered has 16:9 and 4:3 on the same side on the DVD disc I'll use smartripper which tells you which angle is which.

In most cases you can find some different values under CONVERSATION/MOVIE LENGTH. It seems that only the default entry will work properly.
All what I try to do is to choose another length than the default entry - in my case (X-MEN-DVD) I got 3 different entries: 02:23:12 (default), 01:39:53 (the right one) and 01:50:11. When I try to encode 01:39:53 DVD2SVCD will reset to the default setting after choosing another menu or by clicking GO

you better use smartripper...X-MEN is what of the hardest DVDs you'll ever encounter from what I've read. I wouldn't know myself.

You MUST use dvd2svcd to rip the DVD if you want to change the movie length (vStrip or Internal). If you use any other ripper like SmartRipper, you have to select the right movie length in that, not in dvd2svcd.
