I've always used virtualdub to convert videos to different formats or transcode them to a smaller size. Problem is, to my knowledge, you can't put in a target filesize for it to transcode to.
I got MediaCoder to try out, and while nice, it won't let you do that either.
What I'm looking for is a transcoder that'll allow you to input a target filesize, and it'll take into consideration your audio (be it cbr or vbr) and properly transcode your file to the right size.
Anything out there? Or should I just use a bitrate calculator and CBR for my transcoding?
Thanks much for any help.
