Hi all!
I want to split a mpeg2 video (or a VOB-file) into a number of smaller files, but only at the end of GOPs. Is there a tool, that i can uses therefore?
The background to this problem:
Me and 3 friends are working on a project. We want to rip a DVD in a PC-cluster, therefore we need to split the big video files into smaller ones so that we can send one to each PC in the cluster. The PC rips it and returns the encoded file. Then we merge them.
If we don't split the files at GOPs there we'll lose some frames between 2 files, because the encode always starts at the beginning of a GOP.
