i havent burned dvds in a while and when i started it up, i get this message, it isn't reading/loading the DVD.. here's my screen

Go to file mode. But even in ISO write mode, it should still read there's a DVD in it.

Can you read stuff off the DVD in Windows Explorer?

i clicked both of those right now, and still nothing is loading, or recognizing...

hm, nothin comes up either in windows. is it possible something became corrupt?

Your drive may be.

Try rebooting. If no good, reinstall the drive and the secondary IDE channel. If still no good, you need a new drive most likely.
