Hello again,

Im in middle of making another movie for call of duty2, ive ran into a little problem. What i do is open demo and capture screenshots using cl_avidemo 30. BUT, when i put it into vegas do some editing then render the playback seems choppy as if i captured at 10fps or lower. Its not terribly laggy, just enough for me to notice that its not completly smooth and flowing.

Ive done quite alot of movies and cant remember if i had vsync on when capturing the screenshots, but i know for this movie i did have it on.

Im just wondering if having this on could be making my playback choppy or could a problem be lieing somewhere else.

Ive upgraded all my hardware since my last movies also but cant imagine its that.

Ive also tried all different codecs to rule out that.

Thanks for any help :D

Try opening the first picture rendered by cl_avidemo in vdubmod (it'll open the full picture sequence). Do a quick q2 encode and see what comes out. If it's choppy, then something went wrong when generating the screenshots. It not, vegas (or yourself) did something wierd in the editing phase (like not setting the fps correctly in vegas -just a possibility :p-).
