Hi, there.
I want to make a chapter menu. And in this chapter menu, I want to use video thumbnails. It's possible to create video thumbnails using DVD Maestro? Thanks in advance

Hi!
I don't know if it can be done using DVD Maestro but, it can be readily accomplished using "TMPGEnc DVD Author" v.1.6 (NOT v.2.0).
You can obtain a FULLY functional free 30 day trial version of this commercial program at:

Thanks 4 ur suggestion. But I think there's another way. I can use video with 3 video thumbnail within it to become the background for chapter menu. But the problem is when I added it into DVD Maestro, DVD Maestro treat it like an image. I don't know where is the mistake. Do you know why this is happened? Thanks in advance

Do you know why this is happened?No...Thanks 4 ur suggestion. But I think there's another way. It's likely that there are MANY other ways. Does this mean that you have or haven't tried what I suggested?

Sorry, I haven't tried ur suggestions since I have to learn from beginning again. Well, UC, I insist to use DVD Maestro, since I only left one more step, I already know how to add mandarin subtitle, to active subtitle from menu, etc with DVD maestro. Therefore I feel reluctant to use another DVD authoring program. Or is it possible to make a very very powerful DVD like the original one with TMPEG DVD authoring (can add mandarin subtitle, etc)?

"TMPGEnc DVD Author" v.1.6 does not provide for including subtitles...

You can't actually create the menus with DVD Maestro, but you can use videos as backgrounds for menus.
I create mine using a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro (or avid) and Fusion 5. But they can be easily created using Photoshop and Premiere.
I expect your menu is coming up as a image because it is an image. It doesn't matter how many video thumbnails you have on a menu, the file will still be a video file. Also the image wont move once dropped into the menu, it will appear to be a stationary image. You have to preview the project to see it in full motion.
