How am I to update a language pack for FFDSHOW?
Here: http://ffdshow.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ffdshow/trunk/bin/languages/
the latest language pack update is made 8 months ago. I cannot get in touch with Milan Cutka, at least he does not answer any more.

Oh, sorry, the actual forum is at: http://ffdshow-tryout.sourceforge.net/phpBB2/index.php

The sourceforge mailing list isn't really monitored. (And even at the forum it's pretty low-traffic, so it might not get seen for a couple days.)

If you PM one of the devs here at doom9, or at the ffdshow forum, you should also get a reply. Or the thread is always a good catchall. Sorry about that, again.

Doh. I don't wanna subscribe to another forum (i think i'm in 20-30 forums at the moment) !
:stupid:

So here's my suggestion:

Thanks to this ROS forum 3ad (http://www.reactos.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3224), i just discovered the Rosetta (https://translations.launchpad.net/) Web-based translation system.
Rosetta is a Web-based system for translating open source software into any language. All you need to start translating is a Web browser, a good knowledge of the application you are translating, and a knowledge of English.

Hope it helps!

Hmm, a specialized translation interface is nice, but it depends on what sourceforge gives us. Aside from launchpad being intolerably slow, it actually looks like a really nice package.

If it's not hostable there, surely something similar exists (wouldn't be hard to write, but there's a lot of corner cases).

Thanks for that. FFDSHOW has its own translation mode- really were comfortable, though.
