How to end with a progressive MPV file (SP2)

I load an 23'976fps AVI into SP2.
I check DVD-Compliant, 23'976 (not "rate conv") and 3:2 pulldown.
In AREA SETTING I check PROGRESSIVE FRAME.

I always end with a I/L file. :(

What is the option I need to activate to get a progressive MPEG-2 file?

Why are you doing pulldown on a 23.97fps source? Your source is already progressive, you don't need to do anything to it.

Because DVD requieres 29.97 fps mpeg.


Doesn't CCE do 3:2 pulldown by RFF/TFF flags or "hard coded"? That's the question. If CCE ignores progressive mark, this is possibly the case. Check it (dgindex: film or ntsc).

In any case, you can use dgpulldown (http://neuron2.net/dgpulldown/dgpulldown.html).

I've just done a test. CCE does pulldown with rff/tff flags:

* Don't check "for DVD".
* Frame rate: 23.976
* Check Pulldown & 3:2
* Check progressive frame.

Hmmm... i hadn't checked the streams with dgindex, but with GSPOT. Dgindex tells me all my streams are progressive. ^_^
