subs appear as outlines

its a black outline, and the middle is transparent, meaning on dark scenes, i cant see anything...in Gknot, i set up the custom colors as yellow, green, white, blue....then i save my avs file selecting the .sub as the sub file......im not sure if this is a question with Gknot or nandub not doing what i want...any help is appriciated

Hi-I'm no expert at making subs (Shultz?), but back in VobSub there are the 4 colors, right? The ones that have the check marks under them will be transparent, and the unchecked ones will be shown. So, click on Custom Colors, uncheck the one that has the fill color (3rd from left, I think) and make sure transparency slider is all the way to the right.
