Just something I have found a little annoying..

The 'left' frame (navigation frame) on the homepage doesn't allow scrolling. This is a problem for anyone using a lower screen resolution, or anyone that views the site without their browser maximized. There is no way to get at the lower links in these conditions.

I assume scrolling=no was imposed to make sure a horizontal scrollbar doesn't appear. My suggestion is to widen the 'left' frame by 20-30 and allow scrolling (widening the frame will prevent the horizonal scrollbar from appearing if the vertical one is needed).

This would do little actual damage to the appearance of the site, but would increase functionality for readers.

well.. the only way you need that scrollbar is a res below 1024x and since today 1280x is the standard (and soon the majority will move to much higher resolutions.. especially considering the price of todays 20-22" screens), there's really no point in catering to low resolutions.
anyone that views the site without their browser maximized.Let me give you a little rundown of my computers. The desktop at work has a 20" flatscreen... 1600x1200. The work notebook a 17" @ 1680x1050, the home machine 30" @ 2560x1600 (and until recently there was a secondary 23" 1920x1200).. I can go pretty small and never need to scroll in that frame ;)

there's really no point in catering to low resolutions. It wouldn't be 'catering' so much as just 'not excluding'.

But hey, it's up to you if you want to do anything about it.

Why excluding? The page still works.. if you have a 1024x or higher resolution and reduce the browser window size, you are cripping your own experience.. you can't blame the site's maker for your own choices. And if you are still using 800x600, then I don't really care.. just as I'd never spend a single minute making any software run on outdated operating systems I don't support outdated hardware either. 1024x + has been the standard for over a decade.
