Re-reading the following April 2005 at another forum brought a smile to my face:

Although apparently not involving the same "ownership" that was proposed, the "RipIt4Me" package bears a striking resemblance to the software combination that was envisioned "way back then" ;>}
Who knows - Perhaps somewhere down the line, "RipIt4Me" will be enhanced to deal with HD and BluRay DVDs?
