Twopass - 1st pass

I used Twopass - 1st pass to encode this avs file in virtualdubmod:

LoadPlugin("blah\blah\VSFilter.dll")
DirectShowSource("blah\blah\video.rmvb")
TextSub("blah\blah\subtitles.ass")

I used the default settings in twopass. It all encoded fine but when i went to play the file in wmp it wouldn't play saying: "the specified module could not be found".

I tested it in mpc and there was only the sound of the file with a black screen.

Any help would be appreaciated.

The clue is in the name - two pass modes require two passes ;) Valid video is only encoded on the second pass.

ok then... i'll just use 1 pass.

This is off topic but I don't want to open another thread: what's a good rate to encode audio streams [using LAME mp3]? Is 160kb/s too high?
