Multi-pass, how many is best?

I want to rip a DVD, and was wondering how many pass is best.
Although I want the video to have best quality possible, it takes many hours for each pass, so I was wondering when the extra pass wouldn't really be noticeable.

Like experts say here, 2 pass is enough in most cases. More passes makes not much quality difference.
