avi dvd with menus?

i was wondering, is it possible to add a menu to avi discs where you can choose with movie file you want to view on a dvd player? instead of skipping one by one?

No. Not possible since avi doesn't support menus. Your player should offer a file browser though, although some truncate file names to 8 chars.

You could also check out the DivX media format (hack/extension to avi). With it you can have menus, if your player is Ultra certified that is.
