Hi!

I recently bought a DC30+ as it was cheap and seemed to be a reference for capturing. I was aware that drivers were not provided by Pinnacle/Miro for XP. A friend of mine gave me the drivers from a german who sold them.
The thing is that it's far to be properly explained of what you need to install!
Anyway, I tryed to install various drivers, removing some and so on. So far, the only soft I suceeded to make work was Premiere 6.0 (even though I don't have a preview and I didn't find a way to capture audio from my onboard sound card - I don't have yet the DC30 cable...) and AMCAP that work properly but with an awful capture quality!
So, no way for me to get Ulead Studio nor Pinnacle Studio to work.

I wanted to have a try to vdub as I like this prog a lot. Thing is the card is not listed or recognized in vdub! No matter the drivers I used, it never showed up!

So my questions are:

- To those who use DC30+ in XP with vdub, what drivers do you use?

- If I had to dual boot with 98, will I have a capture limit? (like 2 or 4 Go a file) Is there a way to bypass it? Which drivers are you using?

Thanks for your help and have a happy new year!

If you have to use Win98 you can still use Virtualdub, capturing will be limited to 4GB, but with segmented capturing this isnt really a problem. It will capture till the file size reaches 4GB (or slightly less, iirc you can specify it) and then start a new file etc.
