about PSP MP4 AVC VIDEO dir

I put mp4 avc file in .\MP_ROOT\100ANV01 dir.

It plays well without any problem.

but if I put in .\VIDEO dir , PSP says it's unsupported data.

It's said only mp4 avc builed by "psp image converter plus"

can play in "VIDEO" dir ???

how can I make a mp4 avc that plays in "VIDEO" dir well ??

Sounds like a video that was encoded specifically for lower firmwares. Would probably have to demux it and then remux it back together into a standard mp4 file (i.e. one without the custom Sony atom and whatnot)

mp4 avc without the custom Sony atom is impossible for

playing in psp.

the question is that why in older dir it can play ,but in new
"VIDEO" dir it can't play.

It seems only mp4 avc builded by sony offical software is ok.

erspicu that shouldn't be the case also IPOD videos are working in the VIDEO folder since 2.80, could be maybe that they are more strict on the VIDEO dir with certain settings like FPS and Sound if 1 thing is not how Sony want's it it wont play seems the \MP_ROOT\100ANV01 dir is lesser with a setting your Video is useing then the VIDEO dir so it plays there :) Could be that Sony forgot to sync the 100ANV01 dir or maybe they didn't because they produced content that way on their official sites, to my knowledge all their official stuff still uses the 100ANV01 dir to be backward compatible it seems to older firmware :P
