maybe using dgindex and then use parse d2v (from tool) ?

There's no way to inspect the file for corrupt portions of video without actually inspecting the entire thing. Sometimes an error in ripping a DVD can present itself with short, pixellated segments during playback that will not be detected by DGIndex. One of my earliest posts on this forum was trying to figure out why my XviD-encoded .AVI files had occasional blocky segments which turned out to be a failing DVD-ROM.
