View Full Version : Does DVD Shrink alter mpeg-2 stream if no compression needed?

Hi,

I was wondering. If DVD Shrink is able to back up a movie without needing to compress (ie the reauthored main movie needs no compression to fit within dvd-r) then does it alter the mpeg-2 stream in any way. I know that it creates new VOB files but that is OK. For my purposes the new VOB files would even be useful.

Thanks

Hi!

if you set DVD Shrink to "No compression", it doesn't alter the mpeg-2 stream in any way...
