The "Magic DVD Copier" was originally offered for sale at $29.97, including "free upgrades for lifetime" See

In what looks curiously like a recent "setup posting" at another site, the threadstarter asks of the author why his copy of the program is no longer functional.

Are there any other commercial decrypting programs that charge for updates/upgrades? Unless there's something I'm missing about this program (Which is not to be confused with its sister program, "Magic DVD Ripper"), considering that the excellent "RipIt4me" is freeware and other commercial products, such as "DVD95Copy" continue to provide free updates/upgrades, I wonder why anyone should be willing to pay a second fee for a program...
Any thoughts or explanations?

I was just wondering why my serial doesn't work for the latest version release I installed it ver 4.4 and I guess there is an upgrade fee now?? I have had it over a year too. Please tell me what the upgrade fee is please if this is the case.
