SVCD subtitle does not work

DVD2SVCD 105b2 - SVCD subtitle does not work. The bmp files look ok. Tried different font color - same result. Also tried build 3 - still no go.

Tried the DVD2SVCD 105b3 bundle, still not working. It used to work in pre 1.05 version using I-Author.

I too have problems with subs, both svcd and cvd.
Worked great with I-author before, but after I upgraded to win XP I can't install I-author (complains something about config.nt and aborts installation). So I can't force dvd2svcd to use I-author instead.

Anybody have a suggestion??

I can use I-Author to do the switchable subs, but my previous experience indicates that there are problems with I-Author created chapters (like looping back to beginning of first chapter at the end of disk.) What I am doing now is this. I extract the mpg file from the I-Author created cif file using VCDGear, then use vcdxbuild (V7.12pre)to create the chapters and the cue/bin files. This works but it takes more time and effort. So I hope DVD2SVCD can fix this problem with Submux soon.
