Are you referring to playback from your hard drive, a burned CD, or a burned DVD?

...as burned dvd, audio dts only with pictures in background.
better clarification: the source is 48000 encoded with surcode don't play in my 2 standalones.
dts cds 44100 play very fine in the same standalones.
i did all the job again and the result is just the same using coaxial or optical to my sony receiver/decoder.

maybe the authoring program is mistaking it as PCM and muxing it as such? DTS streams and PCM appear identical when you look at the stream.

i Bet that you are right Mug Funky.
in the display of the standalones are showing pcm 48 or something like this(i'm out of my house now, can't remember the right words).
i used "gui for dvdauthor" to do the job.using the same program with ac3 works fine and in the features tell that works with dts too but...can be the program.

do you know another program to author dts free and easy?
