Videoquality affacted when converting / adding audio?

Hi,

I've searched the forums, but I could not find a clear anwser for the following:

I've got a .ts videotrack with a 2.0 AC3 track which I would like to replace it with a 5.1 AC3 track. The file in the end should be a .ts

I know you can use tools like avidemux, but when you use this (or another program), will the videoquality be affacted in any way in the whole proces (incl maybe sync problems that need to be fixed).

You'll want to use a multiplexer application to add audio to a video track. No re-encoding required, so video quality will not be affected.
