I've used fair Use before and Im really lostI believe I may have had this problem before but I'll be damned if I can remember what fixed it.
I'm tring to makes a Divx out of Evil Dead.first when I start up fair Use and start the process the first thing thats odd is the audio file shows up as unknown then after it does its thing and i setup hoe many renderings I want it to do and I go to start the rendering process I get an error that states:
The DVD could not be converted
error: No handeler registered for this type of file.

I ran an aspichk.exe to see if i had aspi installed,I did, I used the force aspi, didnt help.
I'm pretty sure it something really simple but I'm as lost as a body can be.
Any Ideas?
Thanks

I believe other people have had this same problem and it is related to some sort of frameserving that has been set up. See if disabling all frameserving takes care of the problem.

also...don't email me and post to this forum. I read both.

well, if you recently set up something like avisynth, it should come with an uninstaller...if not, or you cannot find the source of the problem, a simple reformat will fix things(couldn't hurt either to keep your system clean)
