I have a 29.970FPS movie which I need to sync to a 25FPS audio file. I need to do an assume fps in a timecode file using MKVMerge. This will speedup or slow down the FPS losslessly using the timecode input.
If I assume 25FPS this will slowdown the movie from 29.970FPS and make the movie longer. For the assume 25FPS to work it would normally have to be a 23.976FPS movie.
So what is the FPS value I need to set when speeding up 29.970FPS to the equivalent 25FPS?
EDIT: Nevermind I just realised how crap that would be.
