I bought Bladerunner DC and got really mad at it only having DD2.0, but luckily I'm a mastering engineer so I have enhanced the soundtrack from the poor condition it was in and mapped it up to 5-channel sound.
I encoded my 5ch AC3 file and now I need to replace the AC3 file to it's original VOB-files. But here I'm clueless :sly:
What program do I use to import and replace the original soundtrack in the VOBs with my enhanced soundtrack?

I would demux the streams from the VOBs using DGIndex, throw away the audio stream, and then reauthor the DVD from the demuxed video stream and your revised audio stream using TMPG DVDAuthor (or equivalent).
But I'm a noob so others may suggest something better.

Hem... I don't want to start a "noobishness" competition, since I am totally sure I am much more noobish than neuron2...
However, SkyDomain, you may want to give to the Malcolm guide a try:

This guide describes the "standard" process to replace or add an audio stream in a DVD, allowing to keep the whole DVD structure (including menus) as in the original...
A specific recommendation holds in your situation: since most probably your audio asset have a bitrate higher than the original, please check (in the reauthoring step performed with MuxMan), that the total bitrate limit is respected... The MuxMan log will report errors in case it isn' t.

Thanx for this superb guide!
I now completed The Bladerunner DC Remastered Edition, now equipped with a digitally restored and enchanced sountrack in AC3 5.1 and a lossless DTS 5.1 track it's more then prefect!
Thanx Techmule!
