Program to create a video thumbnail page?

Is there a program out there that will take a video file, say a two hour movie, and create tiny thumbnails showing scenes in the movie, evenly spaced on a single gif or jpg output file? So at a glance you could see what the movie was about and remember scenes and characters from the movie by looking at this resulting jpg file?

The program wouldn't have to have scene detection, it would just evenly chop of the movie into "n" parts and show a frame from each part.

It should work on any video file, (I'm not talking about DVD chapters).

Media Player Classic can generate a series of thumbnails, but I don't know if there is any way to configure how frequently it snapshots frames.
So you might end up with a lot more than you really want.

Image Grabber II .NET is a great way to do this. Before I was using Media Player Classic but this program gives me more control over it. The official site is down a lot so your best bet is google.

I couldn't get Image Grabber to work, but MPC works great. Is there a way to make it stop putting the timestamp in the thumbnail images?
