I converted (using AutoGK v2.4 using Xvid) a video, which is on a DVD in VOB format, it is not compressed.. it is the ORIGINAL copy. The problem I am having is that, when I play the video on my computer (using both the converted file, and the DVD).. the edge has a "green area" to it, but when I play it on the TV (the DVD) for example.. I cannot see the "green area" .. can someone recommend a way to remove the "green area"?

As you can see.. the "green area" on the very right of the screen..

Hi and welcome to the forum,

Seems a playback problem if your software display green for the avi AND the DVD.
Which software player?
Did you try MPC or VLC?

If the green area is on the original disk, the TV's overscan is probably cropping it.
