I think I may have made a mistake. I am looking to convert to files that can be played on a audio cd player (not Ipod). :o

Hi!
What is the format of the files that you want to convert/extract FROM?

You can use any number of audio editors, such as GoldWave, etc., to cnvert the .MP3 files to 44,100Hz .WAV files. You can then use a program, such as NERO Burning ROM, to create a conventional audio CD (Actually, I believe you can use NRERO Burning ROM to convert the .MP3 files to 44,100Hz .WAV files, as well)...

Yes Nero can convert MP3 to CD-Audio directly.

Definitely. Windows XP has this functionality built into the Windows Explorer. Most CD writing programs will decode an MP3 to CD-Audio compliant WAV automatically, if you specify Audio CD as a target.
