Hello everyone,
I'd like to post here a message about new DVB digital television receiver / recorder software.
It's focused on simplicity and efficiency and offers quite interesting set of features.
# support for all kinds of DVB devices (DVB-T, DVB-S, DVB-C) with proper BDA drivers
# reception of multicast streams over UDP / RTP protocols
# support for SAP/SDP announcement protocols
# built-in decoders for MPEG-2
# hardware accelerated display
# support for Windows MCE remote controller
# electronic program guide (EPG)
# teletext
# instant recording
# time-shift feature
# record scheduling in cooperation with EPG
# subtitles (both teletext and DVB subtitles)
# multilanguage and surround audio support
# fully animated user interface built on Direct3D technology
and a lot more.
Icy-TV is available in 3 versions:
1. Icy-TV 1.0 Full - 30€
2. Icy-TV 1.0 Lite - 24€
3. Icy-TV 1.0 Beta free
Beta and Lite versions don't have the built-in MPEG-2 decoders and are optimized for use with FFDShow decoder.
You can read THIS GUIDE to see how to setup FFDShow. (http://www.creeo.net/icy-tv/en/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=54&Itemid=64)
All versions can be downloaded here : http://www.creeo.net/icy-tv/en
For those who wish to check out the free betaversion : http://www.creeo.net/icy-tv/download/icytvbeta_setup.exe
Betaversion is time-limited (sound volume will drop to inaudible level after a few minutes)
and video may flash to white color in random time intervals but should give you a good idea of how the software works smile.gif
At the end I'd like to show you some screenshots :
