I could have swear I saw a thread about how to encode with vDub a video where the audio is say 1:22 long while the video is 1:32 long. I tried encoding using the "change frame rate to match audio length" with no luck. I can’t remember what I was searching for when I found it but if any one knows it can you please post a link back to it or any other place with advice on dealing with this.

Hi!I tried encoding using the "change frame rate to match audio length" with no luck.Exactly what was the result of selecting "Change so video and audio durations match"?

Same progressive skew, starts ok but the longer into the file the more it’s off. For reasons I have yet to figure out the process I use to get my video from my DVR to a MPEG PS stream demuxed ends up with shorter audio lengths its not that noticeable on a 30 min TV show but on longer (2+ hour) captures its pretty bad. But the MPEG PS streams play fine in aps like WinDVD. If there is no simple way to correct the skew it looks like I will be looking into a new way to process and sadly all the ways I have been reading about are far more complex and will take 4 times as long. If setting “Change so video and audio durations match” was the correct way to fix it I assume the audio tracks must have errors…
