I have an Xvid file with a 6 channels AC3 DVM audio. I extracted the AC3 audio and convert the Xvid to MPEG-2, then I burnt the MPG-2 and AC3 audio to DVD but when I play the DVD, there's no sound on the PC and DVD player. So I convert the AC3 DVM audio to 5.1 DD wav and then convert the wav back to AC3 but the final AC3 sounds different from the original AC3. The converted AC3 file has background sound coming out from one speaker and the dialogs coming out from the other speaker whereas the original AC3 file outputs both dialogs and background sound simultaneously to both speakers. The DVD finally has sound however. I used VirtualDub and Besweet. Is AC3 DVM not DVD compliant?
