Hi All,

I just encoded U-571 PAL and found the strangest problem. After selecting 2x800 disks the imaging program produced an image that required a 14 sec over burn. My current writer does not support overburn - fortunately I intend to buy a new one soon. In the mean time I see this as a problem since not everyone will wnat to replace their burner. It seems that the parameter for cutting has been changed from 796 to 799 and this causes a problem. I can manually change this each time in the cutting procress but is there a better way.

Also is the encoding process producing a file size which will be too long ie 799. I'm happy to lose the trailing credits but even in 1.04B2 we get an extra file of a couple of meg, I'm concerned now we cut into the movie.

I'll give 105B3 a try but I think I'l go back to 104B2 until I have a new burner.

You don't have to go back to an older version. Just type 795 manualy in the field instead of using the pulldown menu.
And you are right, 799MB is too much for one CD without overburning. The biggest size which fits is 797MB (I think 797.7MB, but anyway, 798 is too much). I always select 795 and got no problems with overburning.
