OK, I was humming along ripping my DVDs to a media server when I noticed that when I ripped Godfather it compressed the resulting files by 40%. I then checked the settings and it appears it was set to rip to a single sided DVD. Since the Godfather is sunch a long movie, presumably that means since it wouldn't fit on a single dvd that the Shrink program reduced the size?
I"ve gone back and opened all the other movies with Shrink and they all appear to be 100% in size. But how do I know without re-ripping them all?
thanks!
