Do you guys know of any websites or forums etc, where you can learn about the differences between different forms of video noise and it's cousins? I'm talking like rainbowing, dot crawl, mosquito etc.
Anything that affects pixels in an unattractive fashion.
Pictures would be preferred.

You can find several examples at:

Mosquito noise is referred to as "Gibb effect" on the menu.

This site (http://web.acma.gov.au/radcomm/publications/better_tv_radio/tv.htm) gives some info on what various electrical interferences look like in video/TV
