I normally take my DVDs and convert them down to 23.976fps (film). I'm also making a copy of these movies at 29.970fps for my Sony PSP. I'd rather not make two D2V's (one for each framerate), so is it OK to use TDecimate instead of Forced Film? Or is DGIndex more accurate?
I think I found the correct answer...stick with Forced Film and use ConvertFPS for my Sony PSP

When you say movies, do you mean DVDs you've bought? Or stuff you've recorded from another source? Movies on DVD run at 23.976fps anyway - is 29.97fps a PSP requirement?

@neuron2 - Thanks, I will take care in the future.
Yes, the PSP requires 29.970fps (or 15). My DVDs are normally taken down to 23.976 and then encoded with MeGUI. For the PSP, I have to use another script, which I found here (search for "convert.bat") and it uses ConvertFPS to change the framerate to the proper. I was just curious to see which was more accurate. I've determined that I'll stick with the current method as the PSP movies don't have to be perfect for me, but my HTPC ones do.

the psp can handle many different fps these days, if you have a newer firmware.
25, 23.07, 30 etc all work
