Greetz all,
Since I realize that there will no longer be features added in AutoGK, I was hoping someone else could help me. I download AVI files for my kids, and often they are in cartoon form like SpongeBob or stop-action like Thomas, but the original encoders will create them with anywhere between 192-320 kbps audio. I find that the many times the video portions of the files can be reduced further by using AutoGK, but when reencoding AVIs AutoGK will only pass thru the original mp3 audio and not let me compress down to between 64-80kbps, which is all I need for spoken word audio like Thomas the Tank Engine uses. I'd like to be able to recode the mp3 lower to free up more space for the video portion, so my question is:
Does anyone know how to force AutoGK to recode mp3 in an existing AVI?
Currently I have to convert the AVI's to DVD compatable MP2 in NeroVision, then reconvert using AutoGK to get the reduced MP3 of 64-80kbps and free up room for more video in the smaller files. Being able to force recoding of mp3 in AutoGK will let me eliminate NeroVision from the process and save me MUCH time and harddrive space. Muchos Gracias in advance to anyone who may be able to help...
