DHCODEC now is Planning port H.264 to TI C64x/C64x+ DSP.
In order to lower down the cost, DHCODEC is seeking cooperation opporunity.

The benefit from DHCODEC:
Before cooperation start, DHCODEC can offer a certain amount free PC version H.264 video codec units.
After cooperation end, DHCODEC can offer a certain amount free TI C64x/C64x+ DSP version H.264 video codec units, and return the resources.
The resources DHCODEC expect borrow:
1. TI Code Composer Studio 3.2(or later version)
2. XDS560 JTAG （TI/Spectrum Digital/Blackhawk)
3. TI C64x/C64x+ DSP Develop Kit.
Estimated around 9 months .
About DHCODEC H.264 PC version:
Features:
• AVC Licensee authorized by MPEGLA.
• H.264 Baseline Profile. JM10.1 decoder compatible.
• Include an encoder and corresponded decoder.
• Quarter pixel motion estimation.
• Inner loop deblocking filter.
• 4x4 and 16x16 prediction for intra macroblock.
• 4x4 to 16x16 seven modes and skip mode motion prediction for inter macroblock.
• Extrapolation for unrestricted motion vector prediction.
• CAVLC.
• Single slice and single reference frame.
• Multiple resolutions depend on memory allocation.
• YUV420 color space and 8 bits sample depth.
• Multiple preset modes for user selecting balance between speed and quality.
