Movies on DVD in different mpeg-streams

I have a few movies where to whole thing is not just one but several mpeg-streams on the DVD (when looking at them with DVDDecrypter).

How do I make them all the same stream?

I'm assuming that you are referring to the VOB files being split into 1 GB chunks within each VTS. If so, then there is an option in DVD Decrypter to stop it performing this split:

By setting this to None,
this:

will be turned into this when ripping:
http://img100.imageshack.us/img100/3926/split03yz8.jpg

Is this so you can convert easier to XviD or similar ?
Never actually needed to do it myself with the tools I use.
