What's the best way to rip regular Cartoons?

I'd like to rip some disney cartoons for my kids. I have experience with Nandub (Divx3) and DivX4, however I don't think I should use my default settings that I use for regular movies..

Who can advise? what codec to use (I assume DivX 4)...but what special settings or whatever should I keep in mind when ripping cartoons?

Any tips?

Make sure first/second pass is 66%-75% and try to keep drf's as low as possible. cartoons eat bandwidth far more easy than regular movies. use medium bicubic resize and use high res. try too keep a 1hour=1cd ratio, it seem to work best for disney's.

but i've seen people in this forum suggest that realencoder is the best for cartoons

I think the new real is excellent at low bitrates but at higher bitrates divx4 is better. what do other people think?
