Just interested to find out whether anybody has bought one of these things yet: -

ive seen in others foruns, the drive works with pc, and with a driver to enable winxp to read hd-dvd discs, it works fine with hd-dvd films.

but is only a reader... :(

I've brought one and its amazing, HD-DVD look and sound absolutely perfect. Nothing compares to it.

I have the Hd-dvd drive. I have no complaints with it. But it doesn't have hdmi hook up. That's about the only complaint so far.

Edit: They call it 'hacking' but it seems that there just happens to be drivers, hosted on rapidshare, that enable XP to recognize the drive. I think that that is the appropriate link.
