I was loading a mpeg2 captured from HDTV and found the total video length is different from the audio length, after i select the "change video frame rate to audio", the video length seems to be the same, then i began the video compression using DivxPro, I demux the ac3 audio and using Belight to get mp3, then after remuxing them together, Video and audio not sync, and they are not desynced by a constant, so no using using interleaving. Any idea?

I have one mpeg2 which after loading in VDubMod shows same video and audio length, no problem after converting to divx.

Very frustrated.

It's caused by the fact that VirtualDubMod does not honor RFF flags.

Use fccHandler's VirtualDub MPEG2 and set it to honor RFF flags (Options/Preferences/ MPEG).
