Hi there
been a while since I really used Windows. I occasionally use it for my older DVDs, and I use DVD Decrypter.
Otherwise I use *nix tools mostly these days.
Now, my problem is, one of those old DVDs is badly broken in ONE of its .vob files.
I can recover only 723 MB of its 1 Gig size.
BUT if i use mplayer with -ss setting, and get to the area where mplayer will break, i can hit the arrow right key 2 times and it skips over the damaged part (CRC error something) - and plays the rest of this .vob file just fine. :(
Neither vobcopy nor mplayer -dumpfile help.
Now I am thinking of using DVD Decrypter again... but I am not sure
if this is the proper tool. Any suggestions?
Also, which tool is "the tool" these days instead of DVD Decrypter (which i heard is discontinued since a long time)?
