avi to mpeg2 without cce?

i've just mastered SVCD and found them to be better than divx as they are playable in dvd players. problem is, most of my movies are divx. how can i convert the avi files to mpeg2 so i can make them svcd??

i can't use CCE becuase i only have the trial version and i don't want the logo.

try TMPGEnc from www.tmpgenc.com . You have to reinstall it or delete a registry key or something otherwise you only can use it's MPEG2 encoding features for 30 days.
