How to repairing broken DivX AVI Index

Dear all,
Is anybody know how to repair broken avi index in DivX files? I have accident during convert from DVD to DivX, seems avi index been broken, I know it when play it from VLC player. It can be repaired with VLC but after finish play, when I play again with other or even VLC (after closing the film) it happens again. How to permanent fixed this repairing. Because DivX convert cannot repairing also.

Hi!

Although using VirtualDub to reindex the .AVI as suggested by "G_M_C" may work for you, it will actually be faster to simply do a new .AVI conversion from your DVD...
