Hi, I'm trying to embed subtitles into avi file.
I can do that with virtualDubMod and xvid codec. However I unInstalled the Xvid codec since it mess with segment viewing of another program I have DVD-RB.

So I tried encode the avi file with ffdshow, but I get an error in virtualdubMod :( any Idea how to do this with out having to install Xvid codec ?

10x in advance elad

I too have had problems using the MPEG-4/XviD VfW encoder in Ffdshow. I've never been able to successfully encode with it. The DShow version of the encoder, on the other hand, worked fine in GraphEdit with the same settings.
