best/easiest way to split a tv show dvd into 2?

hi, what's the best/easiest way to split a tv show dvd that takes up a DL disc into 2 single layer dvd's without compressing? (i.e. put episodes 1,2,3 on disc 1, and episodes 4,5,6 on disc 2)

Perhaps the simplest method to do this is by using specifically the quite old, original freeware "DVDFab" v.0.17.

You can obtain this specific version at:

(Do not confuse this program with "DVDFab Decrypter", or any number of other similarly named programs)
