Help in how to overcome missing audio stream problem

I used virtual dub to convert parts of a dvd to avi. There is a menu type intro with no sound. When I try to join the avi's it states segment has different number of streams.

So I need a way to join it but I think I need some kind of audio stream in there but don't know how to create a blank audio stream.

I've been able to get it to work from vob file but the audio gets out of sync.

Any suggestions on how to create blank audio or join without sync problems?

Figured it out, streamed video no sound, joined them up, added in sound with delay and it worked perfectly.
